Eastering

Spring has sprung!
We kicked off Easter by heading to the 22nd floor to our friends the Green's place.Waiting there was a dozen Easter eggs to color and about as many little hands to help.
Easter Saturday was cold and rainy. But we put on our Wellies and splashed in some puddles anyway. Madeline went through a phase where every time she got into the elevator she would walk in the corner and say a prayer. It made me wonder what she knew that I didn't. Maybe I need to pray in elevators. (Not a bad idea considering how closterphobic I am.)
It was tradition in our family while I was growing up to roll the Easter eggs down a hill. I'm pretty sure there are laws here about rolling them off of buildings. I don't think Madeline could've parted with hers anyway. She prefers to nurture hers like a baby.
After gobbling Easter candy and playing with some toys. The Grandmoore's came to visit. They took us out for pizza. (Madeline loves restaurants and thinks it's such a chore to eat at home.)
Grandmum never forgets a holiday where there isn't head-gear involved.
Do I have the best in-laws or what? They are a party waiting to happen everywhere they go.
We know that Easter means more than new dresses and coloring eggs. It means things that really matter. New birth, new life, and family is at the center of it.

What adorable pictures! Maybe once I have kids I'll start remembering holidays further in advance than the night before.
Madeline reminds me of Krystal as a little girl!

Oh, I loved the pictures! I miss you all but Maddie is growing too fast! She is turning into a little lady. Can't wait to see everyone again soon, I hope! And tell the Grandmoores we can't wait for the next party!

Wedding Day in Las Vegas
We were surprised to see our family and friends lined up outside the temple after we were married. It was a nice moment for us.
