Baby It's Cold Outside...

Manhattan had it's first snow storm of the season. Daddy was so excited to see the snow that he snapped a picture of our backyard. Madi remains unimpressed and is waiting to see Utah's Wasatch snow fall.

A Year of Bliss

Charles and I completely spaced the fact that it was our anniversary last week. We've been preoccupied with our little "pork dumplin'", as Charles likes to call her. They say that time flies when you're having fun. And it really has been fun! Here's a few photos for reminiscing.

5 weeks old...

Madeline is getting so big! I wanted to show off her cute little legs which are starting to fill out. Also, can you tell that Mommy is so excited to play with her curly hair. We always like to put the tiny mohawk right on the top of her head.

Lovey Ducky

Just so you know we don't dress our baby as a duck every day. This was her Halloween costume. And, yes, I think she was a little bored waiting for the trick or treaters that never came. In Manhattan the little kids trick or treat at the stores.

She's 3 weeks old today!

I can't believe how fast she is growing! She now weights 9 lbs and 3 oz and is 22 inches long. Aunt Suzy came to NYC and took such good care of Madeline and Mommy. It's amazing what sleep can do! Thank you Suzy for sacraficing your sleep and vacation time to come take care of us. We love you!

Madam Madeline Sleeps...

Madi ventured outside today to our backyard for a "bilirubin" sun bath in her skivies.

Meanwhile, Mommy is trying to find her old "hooters" uniform. Kelleen, do you have it?

Introducing Madeline

Our baby arrived at 5:20am on October 3rd, 2008 after 24 hours of labor and just 25 minutes of pushing! Little Madeline was born at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and she weighed in at 8 lbs 13 oz and measured 21 inches long. Below is a picture of Madeline and Grandmum along with the view from our delivery room window.

2 weeks and counting...

So, I had no idea that my body could stretch like this. Pretty amazing actually. It's been really fun to be pregnant but we're ready to get this show on the road.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa Moore

Charles and I had a wonderful time visiting his paternal grandparents. Grandma is a Reverand at a Methodist church in Maryland and we were priviledged to attend service. She is a compelling speaker and I'm always amazed at how much energy she has.

I also spent time with Grandpa to capture some of his memories to keep in a history. He's had quite a life! I learned that he had an opportunity to be a concert pianist in Europe but turned it down to stay with his wife and small children. He also showed me his art portfolio which is absoloutely breathtaking. I can't wait to learn more.

Expecting Baby Moore

We're so excited to be expecting our first baby due in early October.

Here is our first glimpse of "her"taken at the 20 week anatomy scan. We just think she's gorgeous.

After our fabulous wedding on November 24, 2007 in the Las Vegas temple, we moved into our apartment on the Upper West Side. We are conveniently located between two parks, Central Park and Riverside Park. It's a perfect location for those of us who need to find a bit of nature amidst all the concrete and buildings. There are great running trails at our fingertips.
