Charles and I had a wonderful time visiting his paternal grandparents. Grandma is a Reverand at a Methodist church in Maryland and we were priviledged to attend service. She is a compelling speaker and I'm always amazed at how much energy she has. I also spent time with Grandpa to capture some of his memories to keep in a history. He's had quite a life! I learned that he had an opportunity to be a concert pianist in Europe but turned it down to stay with his wife and small children. He also showed me his art portfolio which is absoloutely breathtaking. I can't wait to learn more.
