Soccer, Crayons, and Shadows

A little soccer time with Daddy at Central Park.
Madeline has discovered her shadow and likes to dance with it.
She also loves to color but often heads for the walls with crayon in hand. So, we have a work around...coloring in her high chair.I love the way she concentrates when we read books.
Whenever she sees a baby she hugs herself and says "ohhhhhh baby". We finally were able to catch it on camera.

Harlem Dance

The youth of the Harlem ward hosted a multi-stake church dance in celebration of St. Patricks Day. It was a great success. This photo is a mix of youth from the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and a few other areas that I am forgetting. I got to tag along to chaperone. Boy, did that make me feel old.I loved this poster.
Hop on that soul train.

The weather has been so nice here that Madeline spent a lot of time outside. The sandbox is her favorite. Her babyhood is slipping away. (sniff, sniff) She likes to do a lot things by herself.

Frozen Blueberries

Do not get between Madeline and her frozen blueberries. Every morning she will ask for "bay-ees" and then rarely will look up until they are gone. Her lips and fingers are stained purple until her morning bath.
Here she is all squeaky clean (sans blueberry stains) wearing her new duck towel.
Oh my goodness how she loves to walk around with this thing on her head. (Thank you, Grandmum.)Dinner doesn't usually require a bath so much as it does a mop.
While we took pictures inside, outside was a beautiful blizzard adding to the snowiest month in NYC history. Madi loved looking at the huge blowing snowflakes. It seemed like she knew we'd be outside playing in it soon!

Wedding Day in Las Vegas

Wedding Day in Las Vegas
We were surprised to see our family and friends lined up outside the temple after we were married. It was a nice moment for us.
