Charles had a b-day and got a ukelele...inspired by Jana who is a wizard on that thing. She should have a recording contract.

Madeline was the angel in the Christmas story on Christmas eve. I think her tongue is longer than Gene Simmons.

Thank heavens for man-made snow. We got a glimpse of winter at Sundance. It has been nowhere to be seen this year....not even here in NYC.

Madeline and Elias tearing up Aunt Linda's house. Between them and Layna's twins the house constantly looked like it had been robbed.

Elias, Abby, and Madeline playing with flubber. That Aunt Linda is so nice...the things she allows in her house!

Now we're back at Sundance. (I told you theses photos were in random order.) All Madeline can talk about is how she is going to make pizza stops like Elias did.
We were thrilled to meet Averi. She's most exquisite, as is her mother. It'll be hard to top the meal we had at Van and Lisa's house.

In the desert we had some good fun in the sand.

We spent time digging for treasures. Didn't find any....well, except for that shovel.

Making sand angels is a must. As is taking off your clothes before entering Aunt Mabel's house. Did you know sand can stay in your pockets through 2 washings?

I look forward to the sunsets in Ivins. For some reason they are prettier there than anywhere else.

Uncle Markyboys' tire swing was a daily requirement. To me, this swing is Americana at it's finest.

Sometimes I ask Madeline how she got to be so pretty. She replies "because of Grandma Potter." The secret is sugar cookies. Set hair. Bake cookies. Comb hair. Eat cookies.

We played hide and seek in the pecan orchard. Madeline also like to pick up nuts, crack them on rocks and eat them. Every time she found one....and they are not hard to find...she would be so excited like she had just found an Easter egg.

It was a real highlight to attend Hannah's baptism. She's such a sweetie. Each of the Potters' are so unique and I love each one of them.

Double the trouble. And double the cuteness. I can't stand it!
