The World Cup is here!! We've been watching the games every day and enjoying Charles' favorite sports event. He went to watch the USA vs England game with some old college soccer buddies and some of the US team players/coaches. That's striker

Back home Madi and daddy have been playing soccer in the house between games. Madi loves to run around chasing him and screams "Soccer with daddy!" throughout the day.
Wahoo! The Wilkinson's came to visit us. It's been way too long since we have seen them.
They are now back from Argentina. Come visit us again soon!
Then we took off for a week of sun and fun at Grandmum's house. On July 4th we explored the
historic sites and had a BBQ while Madeline worked on her tan.

I admit it. Sometimes I need to get a few things done and don't watch Madeline as closely as I should when she is painting.
Because I am a slow learner we get to see what black looks like applied as a cosmetic. (There's that look on her face when she knows she's busted.)
It doesn't help that I can't stop laughing so now Madeline probably thinks face painting is okay. (She went right into the bath.)
When Charles works from home Madeline likes to interrupt his conference calls with some jumping on the bed followed by snuggling.
Ah, the simple days of dating. I wish it could stay as simple as jumping up and down in the crib with the cast of Sesame Street.
But, sooner or later life gets more complicated with emails to read, phones to answer, and pottys to sit on. (I think Isaac is moving some money into his Swiss bank account.)
