NY, NY Stake Block Party

Each year our church hosts a "block party". That means they block off the street to traffic and the street is filled with food, music, and lots of stuff to buy. (For cheap, I might add.) It was a fund raiser for the youth in the stake. Everyone was welcome. The missionaries took visitors on a tour of the building. It was a huge success.

This is a photo of the upper East side chapel.

The Young Women's organization held a "Twister" booth. (Shout out to Michael and Kinsey.)

What a blast! In California all the stakes got together on Pioneer Day and did the same sort of thing. Lots of fun things to do and the food was so delicious and cheap. Our ward did the ice cream booth which was ideal because it was so stickin hot.

We were surprised to see our family and friends lined up outside the temple after we were married. It was a nice moment for us.
